Senior time

I met up with another absolutely amazing high school student who will be starting her Senior year this Fall. She’s got amazing dreams and aspirations for herself and I’m excited to hear where she winds up going to University and what she decides to pursue. Loved spending the afternoon with her.

Mother’s Day

A great Mother’s Day gift to their Mom, from all the kids. I had the most fantastic morning hanging out with this group. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful morning and beautiful subjects.

I had the most wonderful assistant helping me out behind the scenes as well. Thanks for holding the tree branches back!:)

6 days old

Another little sweetheart that had the cutest facial expressions. Came after a long labor and best of all, Mom and Dad didn’t know the gender until he was out. Such a wonderful surprise.

Senior!

It’s not often that I get the pleasure of working with Senior graduates but I was lucky enough to spend part of last weekend with one cool kid who’s about to graduate next month. Let me tell ya, he was a natural. I told him in the beginning that I was a tad nervous because I normally am posing new moms and dads and women in general. I’m always worried I’ll ask a guy to do a certain pose and he’ll look at me with a look like, “That is so girly, I’m not doing that.” But no, I had a natural on my hands. Each and every time I clicked the camera, he had a new pose for me. Awesome. It was the most beautiful evening, just the right temperature, gorgeous light and we were at one of my favorite places in all of DC, The National Gallery of Art. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

Newborn – 8 days

I’ve been awaiting this little one’s birth since the end of March and he finally arrived. Don’t know if you can tell but he’s a red head! My first time photographing a red-headed newborn!:)
